I don't hate them in the slightest. I'm not a big fan obviously and i'd rather have any other team win trophies(although even thats getting a touch debatable with the arrogance shown by the Leeds players and fans) but their fans are a good bunch in the main and unlike at Wire or Leeds i've never encountered any real morons coming away from Knowsley road.

I still can't wait to beat them into submission tomorrow mind!

I'm starting to hate Warrington fans more because there's a far higher n0bhead ratio but they'll disappear back into obscurity soon enough, it'll always be about Wigan v St Helens.

I respect Saints. They've got a great history and always produce great players. I guess you could call them the polar opposite 2 Wire really who have no class or history and they hardly produce great players.

They're not a bad lot Saints fans to be fair. I think they attract decent people as supporters, pretty much like we do and very much unlike Wire do.

I don't hate St Helens - its far more of a friendly rivalry than some others within other sports. Great club, terrific side and it always feels like a real achivement to beat them.

Warrington on the other hand...

There have been some Stains supporting colleagues I have worked with over the years, some I've really gotten on with (they're not all bad), had a load of friendly banter with. There have been others who've made it personal and have been pretty nasty with it. Good with bad.

I dislike thye Stains club with a passion, I laugh at the Wire club. I dislike Stains fans however I have grown to hate Wire fans!

Wigan and Saints have both tasted a large amount of success so there's a level of respect in the rivalry without the bitterness. Derby day for me is as much about the boozing and banter with the opposition as it is the game. Anyway...

Come to think of it, i love St. Helens and everything to do with them, i wish i could marry them all.

If Saints and Warrington play out the challenge cup final, I'd want Saints to win.

I 've always said that although Saints and Wigan are bitter rivals there is a lot of respect(begrudgingly) between the fans and clubs.

But as far as Wire are concerned they are our 2nd rivals after of course Wigan any way back to the norm COME ON YOU SAINTS.

i'm pretty indifferent about mid-table teams

i remember been on the train on the way back to glasgow from edinburgh after the 2002 cup final. i was on the train with my then other half when the entire carriage filled with saints fans. i was on my own with my wigan shirt on. first thing that happened was one of the supporters came up to me, shook my hand and congratulated us on a good victory. had some good friendly banter on that trip and thats what its all about.

Now come wigan smash the scouse barstewards tomoz.

In the 80 minutes of the game I do hate them, no other team over the last decade has given me more heartache than them men. We can talk about our great history but unfortunately theirs overwrites it at the moment no matter how much we try to swing it. The only ones who can change that is ourselves. As far as it goes before and after, I've got many great friends who are Saints fans who actually don't go to as many games now as they used to because of the new breed Saints fans. But before and during the game we don't speak, more of a sign of respect more than anything

Just respect between fans really, its all about the bragging rights. Saints have had their success in the past decade, ours was the one before that. Now lets make this one ours too! Cmon Wigan!

I din't like Warington's play acting against Hull K R. Two players looked as if they were being choked to death and the ref fell for it.
I have no problem with any of the Saints' players.

i (a 20 year old girl at the time) got stopped at the grand final by a 30 odd year old leigh fan asking me "what the f*ck is that sh*t" i was wearing . i assumed it was the super league badge on the sleeve confusing him a bit.

I wouldn`t say I hate stains BUT I only support two teams Wigan and however is playing St Helens unless they are playing Warrington then I wouldn`t support either of them.
