Gutted I will miss Salford next week (my fav away ground), due to a weekend holiday.

We took over 2k last time which was on a friday so with a sunday 3pm we should be able to take 3k

Let's hope Salford bring a 'few thousand' as well!

They haven`t sent Wigan any swaps for the kids tickets so how do they get in if there is no concessions on the day? Salford is they only place were we have this problem i had a blazing row with one of the dweebs at the turnstile last year over kids tickets now we have the same crap again.

Salford in decent form (at home anyway) and we are playing well too. Should be a very good turnout from both sets of supporters.

What is the car parking situation like at Salford? Never been in the car before always the coach but I'm considering taking the car.

You can get them on the day, but not at the turnstile. You have to get them from the ticket office instead.

I tend to park top end of Lancaster Road up towards the East Lancs, takes 15 mins to get back to my car but its normally a straight run from there!

Your best bet is the new club-owned car park behind the Family Stand (where away fans tend to congregate).

Costs £3. Takes a few minutes to get off after the game when it's busy (which it probably will be on Sunday) but it's enclosed and supervised.

Otherwise there are two pay car park (one at the church opposite the ground, one at All Hallows school just up Weaste Lane) who charge the same but both are relatively small and a bit further away.

Either way, get there early as it gets busy all around the ground.

Whatever you do, DON'T park outside someone's house on one of the estates near the ground, particularly with Wigan colours on view - you won't be any bother from any of our fans or the vast majority of the locals, but there are a small, unpleasant minority who seems to take great pleasure in vandalising cars on match days.

So this season we've taken the biggest followings I can remember for a good while to Wire, Castleford and Bradford(in a league game) so i'm expecting a big following at Salford.

Actually seen that happening, as they kicked in a load of cars on the the bridge. We used the car park near the motorway and got the tram in.

Biggest one we have taken to saints for a while as well.

With it being a sunday many people will decide to go on the day and pay on the gate which should bump up the away support slightly.

i want to go.
but i simply WONT drive. therefore the lack of safety for my car will probably put me off

the sooner they move to this none-existant new stadium the better

never had any trouble at Salford

Always park a good 15 minute walk away on the main road in from the lancs, stretch the legs on the way back to the car, and then straight off with no / very little traffic problems

always enjoy it at Salford as we seem to take a few and I dont knacker my legs stretching to look over the guy stood in front of me
