| Without doubt as fans we have been looking at the last 2 fixtures as the big ones, i only hope the players have something left in the tank for Trinity.
This after the last 2 games will be as big a fixture regards performance as the last 2 if we are to come away with a win. Trinity are always fired up for Wigan and they are coming in with nothing to lose off the back of an easier lead in.
I hope Piggy and Riddell are fit, especially the latter as his control of the ruck could be crucial in the outcome.
If we do pick up all 3 wins that will be an unbelievable achievement.

| I think out fitness will come usefull for this one, a few players need to be rested and hopefully we can have a few back. I dont think McIlorum will play. I'd go with:
Phelps
Roberts
Gleeson
Goulding
Richards
Tomkins
Leuluai
Fielden
Riddell
Coley
Joel
Bailey
O'Loughlin
Mossop
Farrell
O'Carroll
Feka

| Lets hope they have a big smash up with Cas tonight. I think we might just about have enough left, it might be a bit scrappy but i think we will be ok. Feka back is a bonus, hope Carmont aint too bad and maybe Coley/Riddell could be back. Phelps will probably be back in contention too.

| I said it on another thread - Wakefield is a potential banana skin definately. Coming off the back of a huge win today, we must head into this one forgetting about today. Today was just another game, another 2points, and Monday is going to be the same.

So you'd rest or drop Fielden? (who has been probably our most robust player over the years) and play Prescott (who got a head gash, and a badly broken nose)?

| If we're to take Maguire at his words, i.e. he takes the season one game at a time, he'll be reinforcing this point to the players tomorrow at training.
Hopefully, as Jon meant to say, we'll have Piggy and Coley back and today's knocks will only be bumps, especially Carmont's. Fantastic wins in the last two games but Kear will be sensing a softened-up Wigan and we'll need to be on our game to take 3 from 3.

| To win today and then lose on Monday would be a real kick in the teeth. It's going to be tough backing up but they've got to do it aswell so we can't use that as an excuse.
I'm presuming we'll not get anybody back because there isn't much of a turnaround. If thats the case and Carmont is out i'd go-
Roberts
Goulding
Gleeson
Pryce(Time for a chance for me)
Richards
S Tomkins
Leuluai
Fielden
McIlorum
Paleaaesina(a little reward for doing what was asked of him today)
Bailey
J Tomkins
O'Loughlin
subs
O'Carroll
Mossop
Farrell
Deacon
I'd give Prescott a rest tbh. He did well today but it was a tough game and he took some pretty heavy shots from the Saints defence and looked battered and bruised.

| Yep, another big game coming up on Monday - sure there'll be a big crowd again as well.
If Phelps is fit, bring him back in with Goulding replacing Carmont.

I'd rest him i agree he's been immense this year bar the few mistakes v leeds. The amount of work he gets through is awesome at times and thats why i'd give him a day off. TBH i didnt realise Prescott had broke his nose it was hard to see i knew he had a cut. Prescott has been really impressive especially in these last few weeks but he had a few games off at the start of the year if i remember correctly.
TBH i doubt Piggy will be fit its only what 3 days. Phelps looked fit warming up, and Coley failed a late fitness test so their may be a slight possibility of him being back.

| Same team as this week other than maybe Phelps on the bench for Deacs and Coley in for a bust up Prescott.
We've got the CC game comming up soon so a lot of senior players will be having a rest that week.
Let's battle through the Easter weekend and then use our depth knowing a top 2 place is in the bag.

| Maguires interview on official site ....
"It was been a bit of a bumpy week with some injuries from the Leeds game, Mark Riddell and Andy Coley and Michael McIlorum only passed a fitness test this morning, it was great to see Mickey get through because this morning I wasn't even sure he was going to play and last night Eamon O'Carroll came down with a bit of a bug and to come out and play the way he did was outstanding."
So Riddell and Coley may be fit ?

| If we can get through this Wakey game our next 2 league games are at Salford and at home to Quins with the challenege cup tie inbetween to keep the lads fresh.
I'd be slightly dissapointed if come 10pm on the 23rd April we're not 11 wins from 12 in the league and in the next round of the cup. I know you shouldn't look too far ahead but thats just the way it is.

I've still got a nagging disappointment we've not got a 100% record!
How the standards of the team and expectations of fans have raised.

It should be 100% without question but I sat at the laptop that night of the Bradford game and said it could be turned into a positive if we learned lessons from it.
We looked to have done that which is great.

| to the players and the fans the cas/wakey derby is just as important as wigan/saints. the players will smash each other up and get stuck in. it may not get the media coverage as a big derby but it is to those teams. neither will have an easy ride over easter and they will be just as battered and bruised as us come monday. I cant see riddell and coley being fit, 2 days isn't much of a recovery time. but with the exception of carmont we seemed quite healthy today. prescott's nose shouldn't be an issue. i thin we'll edge wakey by about 10 points. complacency doesn't seem to be a word in McGuires dictionary/
