In the new year I have no idea what I am going to do. I'm Edna in Hairspray the musical, thats a start

My new years resolution is to give up skydiving.

If that fails to lose four stone!!!!!!

Also to travel to a city I have never been to before (looking at funds I am thinking nottingham!!!)

And I got loads of goodies including a retro wigan scarf and a wigan t shirt

I was given a tall Wigan mug (and spotted the irony of that gift) and a Wigan Hat that has "Ancient and Loyal" on the back.

Got an Internet Radio (genius invention!) because my old one packed in.

And I've no to do list for next year. Men don't plan ahead!

My new years resolution is the same as last years - don't make one!

i gave and recieved too many to mention.

my fav pressies were Leonard cohen at the isle of wight dvd/cd, bob dylan crimbo charity cd, hi fi centre, boxed set of the comedians series 1-7 (13 hours long), dylan book, wheres bin laden, jigsaws, socks, clothes, chochies, bubble bath...and a cristmas apron off mother in law

(i think she hates me).

gave...ps3, laptop, mobile, bike, etc.

and i got the missus a karaoke machine and a warriors RUBBER DUCK

Among other things, I got given the duck. Not much point really, when I don't have a bath, but it's from our Maud, and she thinks it's fun.

i was given the new away shirt, manley 87 retro shirt amongst other stuff

I got the duck, the Wigan RL Ancient & Loyal scarf and the classy Cherry and White socks. In other words people that didn't know what to buy me popped into the new shop and bought me some (quality) tat.

I got Kris Radlinski's book which I read yesterday instead of cleaning the house - it's excellent but I'm sure he could have dished a bit more dirt. Also got some nice Uggs from the husband, a book by my other favourite hunk Chris Hoy and more chocolate than you can shake a stick at. Parents got us new crockery and kitchen lighting which must be what happens when you're old and married.

New year's resolution is to hang onto my job, make my house look like Nigella Lawson's and buy more handbags. And to be less grumpy.

the wife bought me two ducks so they would`t get lonely! work that out!

I will add mine seeing as i didnt at the start of the topic, i recieved - Superdry clothes, Ipod Touch, Wigan Mug, Wigan Tie, Ipod Docking Station. I got a duck for my birthday earlier in the year so didnt need one



New Years Resolution is to keep off the 2 and half stone i lost and rip it up over the Summer RL season.

I got a half share in a PS3. Although my lad has played approx 90% more than me. Wigan away shirt, under crackers, couple of books a DVD and loads of other bits.

New years resolution is to get back running. I managed to lose 2 stone last year but a knee injury saw me put a stone and a bit back on.

I got both Billy Boston and Eric Ashtons books, a superb Wigan polo shirt and Van Morrisons double cd.


Surprise pressie though was an Ion turntable that will allow me convert my 100s of vinyl lps to mp3.

Got - Tom Ang Photography book, Hairy Bikers Food Tour of Britain book, £100 for a new motorbike tyre, a Toblerone, Wigan Mug, Wigan Duck and other minor bits of tat

Gave - Samsung slider mobile, Ben 10 omniwotsits, Ben 10 book, Hannah Montana book, Secret password electronic diary, Thorntons chocolates and a few other bits and bobs

Resolutions - to continue keeping Tobacco free (4 years now), lose weight, lower blood pressure, build up muscle in knees and lower back, get fitness levels back to a healthy state

Got : - 50% of a wii and a shed load of games, loads of aftershaves, pair of timberland boots and some gig tickets for a few comedy acts and bands for early next year.

Gave :- 50% of a wii (was between me and the missus for each other), sharpe DVD boxset, Wigan Away shirt, gift set for the parents and in laws.

Resolutions : - Lose Weight, get fit again and stop putting money in the bandits when i'm drunk!

I got some cracking gifts, many of which from the all new Warriors World



Got the Mrs a season ticket, she was well chuffed, little does she know she will be driving to the games



As for New Year - Ill attempt to drink less and eat better, but a drinking session and kebab on NY's day should take care of that!

Got both wigan shirts, galaxy and a lynx set....

i got a weekend away in dublin flying out in january . a motorbike skid lid money box off my daughter (fave pressy ) that aftershave 1 million , its nice . the usual socks and duds . and enough brandy to last me till next crimbo
