Tomkins- Pure class, what a player, said it all on the other thread.

Hansen- Very underated atm He had a good game when he was on I thought.

Leuluai- 2 very good tries and he was solid all over the field.

Other than his 2 trys i wasnt impressed with leuluai, one thing that bugs me about him is that when we are close to our line why does he kick over the top? He kicks over the top, they catch it easy in their in goal area, they go on to make 80m and score and get straight back in the game, if he had kicked a grubber we could have more than likely forced a drop out or even scored but with the kick over the top with no pressure its always gonna end up with a 20m restart, and his long kicking game always goes straight down the neck of the winger, why we rarely let Tomkins kick beggars me.

If we gave Tomkins and Lockers the long kicking duties it would give Tommy the chance to take on the line more which IMO is his strong point, we just need a new coach to tell them to do that

You need to watch again if you think he was poor, he was hitting the line at good speed and then driving his legs and he was just his usual self in defence.

Good game from Amos Roberts tonight. He was safe as houses and made big metres with the ball.

disagree he missed a lot in defense and he always hits the line at speed he just doesnt have the weight to make inroads.

Spot on about Tommy. I do worry that we are never going to win anything with him at 7. We were 12 points in front and should have been looking to put the game to bed with a nice repeat set or at least trap them near their line, but instead his 'bomb' was diffused, Cas went up the other end and scored twice. He's a fanastic individual talent but not a scrum half that can take us to the next level. IMO Brough would be a man who can.

Thought Coley and Prescott went well too, they've been consistantly good for ages now.

I think those two are forming a great partnership at prop. They look like theyre willing to work for eachother while theyre both on the pitch.
