With crowds now around the 10000 mark pretty much every week, surely now is the time for the Warriors to make use of the Leigh sports village rather than the JJB?

Imagine the atmosphere last night in a 12000 capacity stadium, rather than 20 people jumping around with a drum at the back of the south stand trying to create some noise.

LSV would be a fortress for the Warriors.

Why are you taking it to heart? I was merely pointing out that it would surely make for a better atmosphere in a smaller venue rather than the over-sized JJB. Leave that to the soccer boys who pull in 17000+ every week.

Nice try. For the record our LOWEST league crowd of the year so far is 11670.

That crowd last night was our first sub 10000 crowd against a Super League side since 2005.

Have you though about playing at Northwich Victoria or Macclesfield or Altringham????

All those grounds hold around the 3k mark which should comfortably hold your home support and then you could moves games a gianst a Big club like Wigan or Saints or Wire to LSV yourselves when we bring more fans than the Home Supporters do!

FWIW i had to think long and hard about turning up myself last night as, lets face it, even though we are very very average at the moment salford are still easy beats so there is no real excitement there really.

Wigan cup attendance of 9,466.

Didn't Latics get less on for the Utd game than we did for the Saints game? As for our home crowds...im sure we're averaging around the 13-14k mark this year? IE 3 or 4 times what Salford get on every week.

not really, when you consider football is the biggest sport in Wigan.
it was advertised to death, first cup game of the season, very reasonable ticket prices and Latics get close to 20k every week (according to some fans).
