The 2nd half was some fine rugby, S Tomkins stepped up. Solid defence forcing mistakes.

1st half was more of an arm wrestle, hats off to Hansen playing prop - didn't go too badly.

Apparently Wigan could have killed the game off in the first half but fortunately missed chances didn't come back to haunt us.

Gareth Hock was outstanding apparently.

Good win against an in form side who are no pushovers.

Hock did ok, dropped the ball as usual but threw a great pass to Richards to score as well as beat 2/3 players to smash over the line.

Not a bad performance, but S-Tomkins was deservedly the MOM.

Got to say you had the ref and touch judges on your team and the first 3 tries for you were never tries. 2 were forward passes and one was a knock on

Great win, same next week

A very tired Salford side in the 2nd half, great team performance, and what was great to see was Roberts getting involved, few runs at the line, making a few metres.

That second half when we were deep in our half, I'd of loved to have seen Richards come mid field and launch a ball down field, with Roberts hunting it down, no-one in the Salford side, would have had the legs to get back.

Some many superb chances in the first half and all bombed with the key final pass, great play tho!!

Give Over. The ref was p1ss poor, not for one side or the other. Any Salford fan who claims he was is doing a discredit to the excellent travelling support tonight.

Richards could have had 5 or 6 tonight if the last pass/kick was more precise. Excellent result. Just shows what we can do when we play out our sets.

Lol you was watching a different game? We got about 2 decisions. 3 of your tries wasn't tries. You was offside nearly every time we played the ball and you got away with about 4 big hits and a professional tackle

Makes up for the fact that at 16-6 he chalked off a blatent try for McIlorum then when Feka pushed him over the line.

McIlorum was going to be held up until Feka got involved and pushed him over the line whilst in the meantime a Salford defender fell off him and McIlorum easily grounded the ball.

Alibert didn't have the foggiest what was going on tonight.

Best team won tonight - I was very disappointed in the Salford performance - we needed a couple of players to stand up and be counted , but none did.
The score reflected the gap between the sides, we are newly promoted with some good young kids - very little expected from us, but we have had some great wins so far.
Ref had nothing to do with the score - Hock & Tomkins did.

Ok, 3 of our trys werent trys, we still win 12-6. One of our 'No Trys' WAS a try. You won the penalty count, You were also offside nearly every time we played the ball.

Honestly i think the last few weeks took it out of you men tonight

You have been getting some very good results all you got to do is keep going

And your 2 first half tries wasn't tries and 1 in the second half think it was the first shouldn't have been 1. And it should of been more then 3-0 to us in the penalty count after 20minutes. We didn't get one for a professional foul and then we should of had more for offsides
