| ........to a team that struggles to score 20 in a full match.
After the last few weeks performances I would stick good money on us to pump Hull at Wembley next week but to be honest I honestly don't see us 'being up for it'.

| Disgraceful performance, Taylor is the only player in any form.
Whats happened to Jack Hughes? He wouldnt get a game at Leigh in this form. Next week is our season, all or nothing because we just arent good enough to even compete in the play offs at the minute.

| I don't know how we can turn this form round tbh. I wasn't remotely interested in the result tonight but I wanted to see some shoots of form springing up. It was appalling from start to end.

I'll be surprised if we don't win tbh. Just disappointing to roll over to a grubby Catalan team.

Jist glad we are not playing you. Could be embarrassing with the love Wire have for Wembley.

| Let's not get too pessimistic
I now believe Wane is playing a more sensible game than he is used to.
I don't for one minute believe the "I want to win every game" attitude.
Maybe he has wised up?
Next week will tell us all we need to know.

If you think this is all part of a sensible plan by Wane I think you are well wide of the mark. Winning next week won't prove it was a master stroke of tactics either. If we win next week it will be despite what has occurred in the last seven matches not because if it.

Which is exactly why I am still going next week. Let's face it, Wigan could not have had a worse fixture the week prior to Wembley. A long journey and a game in a bear pit against a very big physical team. Could have been worse. You could have had Widnes at home on Thursday.

| Not worried in the slightest. The team smacks of one coasting in league games at the minute. I fully expect a rared up, aggressive and sharp Wigan team next Saturday.
Just relax guys, we got top 4 in the bag, we're in the final. The last 6 weeks means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Sure it'd be nice to smash everyone, every week, but, does nobody remember this was our ethos last year and we were found wanting when it really mattered?

| Rugby League has lost the importance of what it means to win a game. I watch sport to ultimately see my team win games, this whole charade of getting through to the play offs has lost its edge.

| I think people are really being naive if they think where deliberately playing lets be honest sh*te and where suddenly going to switch the form tap on, today's performance was shocking we have no form what's so ever and I'm personally really worried about our chances at wembley.

it's not that simple though is it? For people who save up for season tickets and follow the club away from home they are getting short changed by not necessarily just the club but the system too. It's easy to write off some of the recent performances with your comment but I just enjoy winning games and like to see us show some kind of improvement and not sell the family silver every year just to meet this fairytale view that we can have 17 Wiganers in the side. I feel like some fans are happy to lose games on a consistent basis and when a sport allows this it's time to pack up.

People said the same thing before the Semi, or words to that affect, with a full team, switched on, we're dangerous. We went into that game having lost 3 out of our previous 5 games. Just as we are doing in the Final. I have no worries about our chances at Wembley.

We aren't losing on a consistent basis though. We've won 17 of 25 games this year, in the league alone. Not to mention being undefeated in the Cup. If the club's plan was the blitz everyone up until June, get a good lead on the top 4, then coast for the remainder of the season, picking up the intensity in the play offs, if it brings us a title, who are we to argue?
Now I hate losing as much as anyone, but i'm not going to condemn the team based on a few lackluster performances. If we end up with the double this year, will anyone really remember this game? I doubt it. All i'm saying, is, if we have to sacrifice games here and there to keep the side fresh, for the betterment of the season, how is this a bad thing?
If you feel cheated by the system, then don't buy a season ticket, pick and choose your games. For the next year at least, this is the system we are using, rightly or wrongly. We all know that at the beginning of the year, there is no use complaining 25 games in that we are manipulating that system to our advantage.

| If top became champions I'd be crying into my beer tonight thinking we'd blown the title but hoping for a bit of form for a run and a good crack at the Prem Trophy. As it is a dont give a damn. We've seen the champions from the past 2 years go into the playoffs in shocking form so no need to worry. Wasn't Leeds booed of the pitch on the last game 2 years ago? What a joke our comp format had become. And it's still the first reason for non-RL mates give for not going to a match.
They think I'm crazy for paying and going to games when it doesn't matter.

I understand your points but then winning 17/25 looks fantastic until you look at the 8 games we've lost/drawn and who they were against. There's a lot of faith placed in tapering in sport but I don't buy it as much in a team sport, there are too many variables. I applaud your optimism but in my opinion it's grossly misplaced with this coach in charge.

| I believe form means nothing going in to a game of this magnitude. I just hope best team wins with everybody talking about Rugby League and not dodgy ref/VRef decisions.
Safe journey to all and I look forward to sharing a few beers with a few of you before and after the game.
