Please don't tell me that the SL franchise system is about leveling up the amount of yorkshire and lancashire clubs.

Nope, it's about getting rid of the worst clubs. Unfortunately for you lot, Wakey are easily the worst on the criteria they have set.

I'm afraid i'd much rather have Leigh, Halifax or Barrow in SL than your lot.

After visiting your shed on Monday - I wont be supporting.

I supported I want them to add two more teams I dont think anyone should go.

I also think it is unfair to kick Wakey out and not Crusaders too just because they're in Wales.

If wakey get a new stadium sorted then they need to be kept in its one of the derbys for MM and there are teams in the league with lower support than Wakey too.

Crusaders, Catalans, Hudds, Quins and Salford.

As for the super league family pulling together rubbish, what about clubs below super league? Shall we just cast them off? Every club deserves a chance even if the criteria malarkey is stupid.

Wakefield knew the criteria like everybody else and they havent done enough to keep their place imo. They also knew Crusaders would be certain to stay and they are probably the only club below them on the criteria at the moment.

Their average this year is 6,800 but that includes playing Wigan, Leeds and Wire. They've still got to play Huddersfield, Saints, Crusaders, Bradford, Castleford... There's a few 5,000 crowds to be had yet.

At this point last year their average was 6,800 and the finished on less than 6,000.

Catalans current average is 7,854

I think Catalans have fantastic growth potential, their average attendance in 2009 was 9,159. With improvements to their ground and a strong team (plus games on the road - Barcelona..etc), they could easily break 10k and push onwards.

And I think that's the galling thing regarding our demise,every club should indeed have a chance at Super league,promotion and relegation should be the only criteria,not having a shiny new stadium!!!
As for Wakey not doing enough whilst knowing the criteria that's so very true but London have hardly pulled up trees in the last 15 years have they?

To attract investment into the game we need a shiny product. Unfortunately Wakefield don't have that. Yes Quins and Crusaders are nomadic but they play in nice stadiums and give the impression of a professional game. Unfortunately Wakefield don't. They're not on their own but they do seem to be the one that will make way for Widnes.

Sorry, but I went to Belle Vue last week hoping that I didn't have to return again next year.

Everything regarding the club seems unstable on the inside and dull on the outside.

I just can't see them offering much to Super League long term, therefore I'd like to see another Championship club given an opportunity to prove that they're eligable to compete at Super League standards both on and off the pitch.

Why did we have to pay £20 to stand on a crumbling terrace and this week it is £18 I believe.
Won't miss Wakefield at all.
What have you done to improve facilities in 3yrs ?
Has the paint dried yet from Monday ?
