Think a few players need to shape up pretty quick, Lima and Joel especially both poor. Massive rap for Mossop thought he was superb.

1 thing we needed to improve on was closing out winning leads. Last year we on several occasions took dominant leads and shut up shop, we did the same tonight which wad disappointing.

I think you could add a few more names to them tbh even though we was walking it after 65 mins at times we was highly frustating and below par. Prescott made too many errors and Mossop for me needs to tighten his carry he dropped a few and was lucky once aswell as they was called for offside. Sam was well below par. Tommys kicking was absolutley atrocious and showed why we need Deacs if Finch isnt fit.

Harsh on Lima. There seemed to be no difference between him and Mossop who you praise. Lima put in a good hard working shift by the looks of things, which is what you'd expect. He's more Fielden than Feka and it looked like he got through a lot of work.

if Feka made the errors in defence Lima did tonight he would have been panned. Look lethargic and not much of an impact going forward. Mossop made good yards on contact and put himself about. Despite the hype Lima carried on like he finished with the Storm. Early days though but thought he was poor tonight.

Disgraceful second half by us Lima played more like a second rower than a prop hope we get better for the next game

Far more good to take from the game than bad. We will learn an awful lot from the last twenty minutes. I had an horrible feeling that we would suffer with 4 forwards on the bench, and I think we did. As soon as Deacon was injured and had to leave the field it was going to be a struggle, I thought we coped well and played quite well in both attack and defence. As soon as Carmont got cramp the game changed, our attack lost its bite, we lost the momentum down that flank and Saints grew in confidence. Their speed picked up and we gave silly penalty's away as a result.

Last try was 'another famous Saints forward pass try' !

Have to say the Hoff looks amazing. One of only a few who can hold his head up. Great attack and terrific defence capped off with a stunning try.

It made up for the try Smith didn't give us earlier - which was a try.

Carmont was very strong, as was Mcilorum, Hoffman and Mossop.

I certainly wouldn't put Lima amongst our worst - I thought he was decent for his first competitive game. Goulding, Joel and Leuluai were very poor though.

65 minutes in I was relatively happy with the perfomance, unfortunately it just went downhill very quickly in the last 15. Not worried at all, you know with the coaching team we have we'll learn lessons from it.

I spotted 1 mistake! That was from a pass to the shoulder which admittedly should have been taken but is still the sort of pass that's most likely to go to ground. I don't think he was amongst our worst performers.

Your right it was, unless you consider the forward momentum rule, in which case it wasn't.

we should have kept going at them rather than five drives and a kick we just gave them to much ball and because they had all the ball too many penalties.
a lesson learned i think.

I wouldnt say Mossop was superb...

Yes he took the ball in well and looked comfortable at prop but he made crucial errors in the game. I do need to watch the game again though as I would of missed a few things at the game. My only standout player was Hoffman.

I'll add Lockers to my standout players too, forgot about him!
