The ex-Wigan winger has been in custody for six months as he faces 13 offences including aggravated possession of ice, supplying ice, producing marijuana, possessing ketamine as well as weapons charges.
If convicted, he could be jailed for up to 25 years, reports the Courier Mail.
He is due to make an application for bail at Queensland's Mackay Magistrates Court next Friday.
Problems with a videolink prevented him making the application as scheduled today.
Dallas became a huge fans' favourite during seven seasons with Wigan, during which he won the 2002 Challenge Cup.
The former Queensland and Australia star hung up his boots in 2006 and, in recent times, his life has taken a downward spiral.
A year ago, he pleaded guilty to three charges including the theft of a coffee table, worth around £360, from a furniture franchise in November 2019, reported the Daily Mercury.
Magistrate Damien Dwyer said at the time: "The last thing this community or anybody wants is for you to go to prison. Unless you can show me that the community is safe. This is your 10th [stealing offence in less than 12 months."
Dallas' solicitor, Rosie Varley, told the court then that the dad-of-three had been receiving disability pension for the last 12 months.'"
Knew he had been in trouble for some time, but didnt realise the offences were this bad.
Terrible.
If I remember rightly, didnt he claim mental health issues when in court a few years back when he was living on the streets and stealing?
Its very sad, however if he is pushing the things about as it says, there are plenty of people (quiet rightly) who would forget the nostalgia very quickly.
What a mess. Feel for his family as it doesn't look like he will be coming back from this one for a long time.
