| I hadn't even thought about the prospect of Adam Blair heading to Wigan, but I know his wife is planning on setting up some sort of leisure club in Manchester.

| A work colleague has told me on a few occasions (not someone who is ITK so iv not paid much attention to it and presumed he was getting mixed up with Keighran) but I have also seen it mentioned a few times today on social media that Miski is leaving at the end of the season. Seems a strange one with him still having 2? seasons left on his contract. Anybody else heard this? Don?t think I have seen it mentioned on these forums.I also read the Twitter comments on Gloucesters announcement of Wade leaving and the consensus was that it is a blow for them and he?s done well for them in a team doing fairly well, so it doesn?t seem like we are signing a player who isn?t wanted in Union, although I think the likelihood he does well for us is pretty slim.

| Wade is athletically perfect for rugby league and the way we use our wingers.
He?s an absolute power house, he had great feet and he is rapid. His athletic gifts are the reason he had a good dig at transitioning to the NFL.
At the end of the day though he?s 33.
I don?t think Douglas will be ready for the way we play physically for a couple of years but at the same time I don?t think Wade will be around for a couple of years.
If he?d have come a decade ago he would have been a beast, at this stage of his career it?s a free shot to nothing given he won?t cost us anything on the cap. He won?t play more than a handful of games I don?t think however I think those games will be entertaining.
Ultimately it?s a bit of a PR exercise which will put more eyes on us as a club in my opinion and I think we will see some glimpses of what might have been had he come earlier.

| Yeah it seems odd, not good for Douglas or Eckersley (when Keighran is also back).
Plus Sambou coming in next year anyway?

| Surely Wade arriving won't affect anyone else. He'll be 34 when he plays his first game and is signed until the end of this season.
Might go to 2026 but that will be stretching it. To me it's a publicity gambit.
