A quick reminder for any supporters that are coming up to Newcastle for the Magic Weekend and will be in the city from Friday. At 8.00pm on Friday 29th May Newcastle Thunder take on York City Knights at Kingston Park Stadium. Admission for any fan with a Magic Weekend ticket is just £5 adults and £2.50 for under 16s. With over 1,000 tickets already sold it promises to be a great night and an ideal way to kick off your Magic Weekend.


Kingston Park Stadium (postcode NE13 8AF) is 5 miles north of the city just off the A1 (A696 turnoff marked Airport). There are over 700 free parking spaces at the ground. The stadium is situated just 5 minutes walk from both Kingston Park or Callerton Parkway Metro Stations. The Metro is the local Tyne & Wear Rail Network and has a number of city centre stations. Get on trains marked ‘Airport’ and the journey is approx. 20 mins and costs around £3 return.


At the ground we have the recently refurbished ‘Tap & Tackle’ Bar as well as bars and food outlets in the West Stand where supporters will be seated. Thunder Merchandise will be on sale at the ground.
