| Hi, hope everyone had an amazing time watching the rugby, be it at home on the tv, at the pub or at the stadium itself. What a great win it was, and oh so much sweeter being against Warrington, primarily briers and westwood!
I was wondering if anybody could enlighten me on a few new songs I heard at the game. There were a group of lads a couple of rows above us, lovely lads by all accounts, seemed really cheerful and really added to the atmosphere for me. They were singing the classics but then came out with some crackers, some seemed on the spot remakes but ones which amused me was a great...
"One man couldn't carry, couldn't carry Taylor, one man and his 'forklift truck?' Couldn't carry Taylor'
That one carried on for some time... Dying off around '9 men couldn't carry'
They were relentless with the songs and I loved it. Was just wondering where all these songs have come from? Or were they just made by the group I saw?
Again, thank you to everyone who went to the match, the fans of our wonderful club are a real delight to be with, something many other clubs aspire to be like. Long live the Wigan way!
