Very true but we are still hoping for a good day. I think a lot of people will have booked time off work with the fixture confirmed so early in the season. To be honest I reckon it could be saints poor form and a challenge cup run for you guys that will put more of a dint in the turn out.
That said it is the derby, the crowd will be up around 15k, a nice weather forecast and their are plenty of you chaps who see time in The George for a trip this way as tradition which is much appreciated.
The wider argument around any monday games is a mute one as the soul has been sold to the devil and he calls the tune. The only way to get these matches stopped is for every rugby fan to just stop going and let the stands be empty, but too many people with season tickets wouldn't give up a game paid for and others who are just apathetic to get involved.
