Yes, after reading through, I've seen it and agree totally. Apologies Hatty. No matter what team we support, we need to support all amateur clubs, especially in the face of adversity like this. We've had some proper battles on the pitch with East at both my lads age groups, they're a passionate lot (translates as Oh God it's LE next week, get your body armour on lads), would hate to see them go under.

And having just seen the last posts, excellent news.

That's great, it's a shame however that Lowton East's councillors view was, on Thursday to toe the line and effectively do nothing:

As for comment on the situation I feel the council statement is clear. If there are any changes, or I receive an update I will endeavour to keep you informed.
