Also look at Man Utd they normally win the league at a canter put struggle with Champions LEague, could that be the same as the play offs?

Should be top 3 with league leaders going straight into the final. Unfortunately superleague is owned by SKY and not the RFL, with a potential contrived play off that does not reward consistency.
We need a scenario for example where Wigan win ever single game up to the grand final and say Wakefield lose 14 league games but finish in 8 th place and go on to win superleague.
Consistency is a terrible word and is a taboo with the RFL.
