Rang them a bit ago enquiring about a mini bus as we thought we had arrangements but have to sort something else. Anyways, simply asked if they had any available for Sat, they said no due to Chester races and they're fully booked. I thanked them then went to hang up, stupid cow on the phone started slagging us off about leaving things until last minute etc. Anyways, rang her back asking her if she'd like to wait until she's hung up properly in future before slagging off potential customers, and she just said bye and hung up.

And it'll be late because the conductor is having a brew and a read of the paper.

I called in at Atherton Station this morning and it was confirmed that the train stops a Hindley and Atherton ,leaving Atherton at 14-50. I was told it could be 5min late into Atherton because it may have to pull over to let a regular schedule train through.This slight delay would be made up so it would arrive on time in Hudds.
I dont have a match ticket so I rang the Galpern and was told that tickets could be picked up at the office.
These tickets will have a £1-00 surcharge over tickets purchased through the clubs and the RL.
So I will be on the train and wander down to the ground in good time,I just hope there is a good pub along the way. The old Bladder does not allow me to walk to far in one go.

Plenty pubs in town a couple minutes walk fron the station,there's even 2 pubs at either end of the station, and of course the famous george hotel is right outside the station!

One being 'The Head Of Steam', well recommended, a real ale drinkers treat.
