You can shut these down you know if you look for the small 'x' in one of the corners - they just make them difficult to find to make it hard to shut down so you may have to hover over the advert.
Alternatively just right click your mouse on the part of the screen where there is no advert, and select 'toggle fullscreen' and the game will come up full screen, without ads, and nearly as good a picture as sky
