The regular season draws to a dramatic close this weekend with a Crusaders side desperate not to get ‘the wooden spoon’ taking on the Warriors this Friday. The Heritage Day celebrations will also include the last Wigan Warriors Showcase Stage performance of the regular season, appropriately featuring a local starlet who is a life long Warriors fan.
Pauline Blackburn has been solidly writing her own material and playing gigs for about 4 years now and plans to record some of the songs in the very near future. Though having played gigs all over the likes of Wigan, Bolton and Manchester, as well as recently at the Darwen festival and the Crooke Charity Festival, she has stepped back from performing live as much this year, concentrating on finishing the material ready for the studio.
Pauline said; “I feel honoured to be asked to play for the Wigan Warriors Showcase Stage as I've seen the Warriors play since a child in the 80's. I took the trip down to Wembley last week and was really happy to see them win the Challenge Cup for us. It is a privilege to play at the last game of the regular season”.
You can hear some of my songs on her website: [urlhttp://www.myspace.com/littlemisspauline[/url
Pauline will be performing on The Wigan Warriors Showcase Stage located on the players car park (opposite the South Stand Bar) around an hour before KO (8.00pm).
