Agreed, and it was entirely predictable that they'd bottle it.

Cas lost that as much as Leeds won it by inviting so much pressure in the closing stages with tiring bodies giving away reckless penalties.

No doubt it was a penalty, maguire rightfully milked it for all it was worth

Cas never threatened for large periods of the game, they just had a few good passages of play.

The chase try, being held up just before halftime, and the orr charge down at the end are the only times in the entire game they really threatened.

We could play better than that and still lose by 30+ in the final.

Thought the Wiggin v Stains game was a superb match between two top SL teams in good form....then came Leeds v Cas...This was like watching two pub sides batter each other. The quality of the game was some of the poorest I've seen in a long time. Leeds kicking game was worse than you would see in an under 9's match. The Rangi Chase try was not so much brilliant opportunism as pathetic air-grasping by the clutch of Leeds defenders around him. Webb should have nailed him just before he scored.

Sorry Stains, but you would have made for a better final with a kinder draw. Leeds fans are now dreading yet another humiliation at Wembley. I suppose if Cas had made it then they would have savoured a day in the capital come win or lose. Plus as a Leeds fan I thought the penalty at the end was harsh.

All Leeds fans can do is pray for a miracle



PS. I hate to say this, but with the teams you've beaten to get to the final you really deserve the cup this year.
