What puzzles me is, if he wasn't fully fit, why keep playing him? Playing a player whose speed and agility are a huge part of their game when they aren't fully recovered from a knee injury seems a little daft to me, especially after he was going to be judged on his his awesome performances at the start of last year. Indeed his lacklustre performances (which it seems are due to not being fully fit, which I think a large percentage of people realised) have led to him being criticised because he "isn't the same player as he was last year", I'm puzzled what the coaching staff expected?
