If the NRL manage to succeed in getting what they want from the new TV contract's. It really will spell the end for any big names coming over here IMO. We may still see a few towards the back the end of their careers and a few no hoper's. But as for genuine superstars it's just not going to happen. In fact I can see the opposite happening, where by a lot of Britain's best player go to the NRL. The money and exposure they'd receive would be tough for a lot of players to turn down.
I think we've been fortunate the sign the three from Melbourne that we have. Because in a couple of seasons time signings like those won't happen IMO.
