just watched it again and seen no evidence of that at all.

I would say that was more Mossop than Farrell. There's no need to have two markers when your defence is on the goal line, as long as someone covers the area behind the ruck.
We basically had 4 men against 2 down the right hand side which made no sense. It means we were short on the open side so Farrell had to move further into the middle. Mossop and Leuluai should have slid across to move into that space behind the ruck because they weren't going to send the ball to the blindside and we had enough players there. Even in the unlikely chance that they did they could slide across and cover. A lack of communication was perhaps the biggest problem.

My mistake, it was Jon Wells after the match that showed it during his analysis of the tries. Tomkins points to Farrel to move to his left, away from marker.

This was definitely the case. Farrell was behind the ruck and Tomkins shouted him out left expecting them to spin it out wide. Unfortunate mistake really because there had been a massive defensive effort in the few sets before and to concede quite a soft try was disappointing. Just one of them things, lets hope they just forget about it and concentrate on making sure we're in next years WCC!

Knew from watching him in the reserves he was a class act and he's made the step up superbly.
