I would say that was more Mossop than Farrell. There's no need to have two markers when your defence is on the goal line, as long as someone covers the area behind the ruck.
We basically had 4 men against 2 down the right hand side which made no sense. It means we were short on the open side so Farrell had to move further into the middle. Mossop and Leuluai should have slid across to move into that space behind the ruck because they weren't going to send the ball to the blindside and we had enough players there. Even in the unlikely chance that they did they could slide across and cover. A lack of communication was perhaps the biggest problem.
