"According to the radio technician i have go to know the new system will be in place by July. It just means the output will move from 820meg to 850meg range
and the new inputs will be digital in the 470meg range which will make the reception better for all. And also the RFL radios they were selling at the 4 nations will work again. My new found friend will keep me updated."
I am not sure if anything has changed since then and what frequency the coaches use - anyone know?'"
I should imagine the coach signals will be encrypted so that the opposition can't hear whats being said.
I'm not sure if you can encrypt signal this way on what they use but I imagine you can seeing as you can with mobile phones. Based on the principle of quickly jumping between frequencies within a particular range designed to stop anyone who shouldnt getting a hold on it. Depends how secretive coaches are really.
