Anyone know what frequency the referee's mics and earpieces operate on?

Could be interesting to listen to them throughout the season.

I should imagine the coach signals will be encrypted so that the opposition can't hear whats being said.

I'm not sure if you can encrypt signal this way on what they use but I imagine you can seeing as you can with mobile phones. Based on the principle of quickly jumping between frequencies within a particular range designed to stop anyone who shouldnt getting a hold on it. Depends how secretive coaches are really.

mine didn't either, though i noticed later one when i saw one of the sellers, it wasn't being advertised on their signs, just commentary.

Those frequencies all fall into UHF, way beyond what any normal radio can pick up. A quick Google search has left me dismayed. It looks like you have to fork out a decent amount of cash (anything from £80 - £300) to listen to those frequencies. The RFL clearly don't want people listening to the referees at normal games. With good reason I suppose.

It was great for when you miss something, but listening to Clarke and Cullen talking ballcocks is frustrating.
