Quote ="LovesToSpooge"I thought Mossop was good, particularly when he played for so long uninterrupted. One of the backrowers stood out a great deal as did our wingers. But for me it would Charnley, surely a certainty to cover for Pat and push anyone of our backline for a spot.'"
His pre season form in training seems to have convinced Maguire to keep him ahead of Pryce but I still think they see Marsh ahead of him tbh. The fact that Charnley played today and not Marsh would say to me Marsh is more likely to get a game at Wire next week and then going into the fully blown competative games.
The bits i've seen of Charnley and Marsh games i'd have Charnley quite a way ahead in terms of potential but Maguire and Wane see these guys everyday in training. I went to a sportsmans dinner at Haigh Hall last year and Maguire and Wane were the guests and they both thought the world of Steffan Marsh. To be fair i'm more then happy to trust their judgments.
