I was a bit annoyed they'd stop selling these. Would have liked some merchandise with Champions emblazoned on it. Couldn't really afford it before Christmas so was putting it off till nearer the season.
They had quite a few different designs in the Club Shop mid November when i went in, but thought i'd wait for Christmas to get any. My parents made the trip up from Shrewsbury the first weekend in December to do some Xmas shopping and all the designs and tops had sold out with no more stock being ordered! Annoyed was not the word!
Very strange marketing ploy....sell out all Champions Clothing range prior to December! Even the Tankard had sold out by the time I got there (although that was officially a limited edition).
Just feel like the club missed out big time on some easy sales.
I went to the shop in the Grand Arcade over Xmas to get a polo shirt and they only had one left in the style I liked but in the wrong size. I dont understand why you cant order merchandise from the shop if it is out of stock - they need to sort their supply chain as they must be missing loads of business!
