Quickly? We couldn't see the big screen so were relying on the clock above the new East Stand. We were sure someone had removed the batteries. People around us were telephoning home to ask "How long is there to go?"

I will also confess to having been very nervous right until the closing minutes. Almost irrationally so, given that Wigan had given Leeds a mountain to climb by then. Only when Gleeson crossed did I relax.

Well I could see the clock on the screen. The first 20 mins of the half seem to take an age but I was always confident once that three sets in a row on our line set was seen out around the hour mark. I thought it drifted away after that. But I'm generally a cool person at games anyway.
