Not a big deal to me tonight, if Leeds had so many injuries we'd not have heard the last of it.
Gleeson, Prescott, Mossop and Goulding were all out and easily classed as regulars O'Carroll, Roberts and Phelps have been out longer but were still in the frame earlier in the season. Add to that Carmont's injury when we were already struggling in the backs, Huddersfield hitting form, their need to win being greater than ours and the fact they only won by 2 points after stopping 2 tries by professional fouls (only one of which was dealt with correctly), think its ridiculous that anyone would question whether we're peaking too soon. Marsh has hardly played 1st team and Pryce's positioning was poor at times but we shouldn't need them in the playoffs and our forwards were knackered with Farrell, Tuson, Stu and Coley doing more work than usually expected of them with the prop situation and Joel being at centre and lets be fair it would've been too much of a risk bringing Davies on in the second half. Let other teams and fans write us off but I really don't think you can read too much into the loss tonight, Huddersfield are a decent side who have come out of the other side of a bad patch playing some good rugby when all's said and done.
