These players don't need coaching, I think they need an inspirational British ex player ie Hanley, Edwards, Schofield to inspire them and bond them as a team. The complaint from alot of players like Long is that the coaching was too technical, like doing tackling practice! If players selected at international level don't know how to tackle its time to pack in. The best coaches of GB in the last 20 years have been Hanley and Mal Reilly, both motivators of men.

I've been thinking about this and this is a real spanner in the works, but why have the RFL not looked at someone like Shaun Wane?

Fantastic motivator, demands respect and will get the best out of any team he coaches.

When have the RFL ever done something clever?

Mad to think that people on a internet forum can think of better ideas than the people incharge.
