Quote="Bilko"Yeah Cullen stopped them training full time last year.'"
He made them all train in the evenings. Before that he had the full timers training in the day and the part timers training at night when they'd finished work/college.
It's a good thing that they will still be training at Wigan, as that way they still feel part of the setup here. Positive move from Wigan. Everyones a winner.
when ainscough, Farrell and davies have had a couple of months listening to Mr Cullen talk when they get back nobody will understand a bloody word they're saying.
Wigan chairman Ian Lenagan said: "They will continue to train with the Wigan first-team squad for the majority of each week."
As far as i'm aware Wigan as the 'parent' club have first choice whether to select them in the 19 each week. If we don't select them then Widnes have the choice. Realistically they will be training with wigan most of the week and probably widnes a couple of days before a game then playing for widnes unless we have a major injury crisis.
"The dual registrations mean either Shaun or Liam can return intermittently to play for Wigan at any time based upon form or injuries and the rest of the time, like Ben, get senior rugby experience with Widnes."
