My Dad used to ref in the St Helens district when Ganson was coming through. He told my Dad that if he ever got to ref Wigan he would make sure every 50-50 call went against us! He's not as bad as he used to be and I'm ok with him now.
He has dropped the whole i'm out to make a name for myself act and has instead become a great referee. Lets hope he doesn't go back to his bad old ways especially on Saturday.
wonder how long it will take for cunningham to try and t wat sam. I think that confrontation could resurface early on. Be interesting to see how Ganson handles it if it bubbles over early doors.
