Many onlooking fans were rubbing their hands in appreciation at our misfortune when all the news about Hock's antics come out. The papers are still dragging out the story to this day, as always, magnifying the negatives of our sport.

As said by somebody on here; It could've gone one way or another. The team could have fallen apart under the pressure/missed presence of one of our best players. Or it could have binded the team closer together with every player, 1-17, stepping up and producing a performance.

I think it's safe to say the latter has happened thus far. Last night was needed for quite a while 'in relation to' entertainment, and of course our league position. Most neutrals commented on enjoying it. But it's a breath of fresh air seeing the young talent coming through who have the passion that looks to have been missing for some time.

For the first time in a while this season I'm looking forward to the next game. Bring on the Saints.

I think i was one of the very few that called it, Wigan would benefit from all this negativity and vastly improve. Your form has been fantastic since the Hock drugs incident and you definitely have this siege mentality, thoroughly looking forward to the Wigan games now. If we do win i'd rather it be against a very good in form Wigan. i see two very good games on the horizon.
