It's a worrying trend for RL as a whole, Bradford were not only a major force on the field their support home and away boosted attendances across the board.
A few years ago Warrington were also looking to push on but have also dipped on and off the field, who's to say Saints, Leeds or Wigan aren't next?
Ambitious clubs made real efforts to promote the game a few years back to push the game back upto the level of RU, but now mediocrity and a know your place attitude have taken over, ambition has been driven out of the game.
Not only that but the entire regular season is now irrelevant, clubs, coaches, fans and more importantly Sky are only concerned with the play-offs.
Its a big shame what as happend to the attendences at odsal as they took SL to a new level at the concept of SL and now there getting 8000 for a game. Where are all them fans now that used to watch them ? I know they cant blame thier stadium as it was even worse in 1996/97.
Horrible, horrible club. Used to love playing them at JJB when they used to fillthe North stand. Seems as though they were the most glory hunting supporters in history now. Bull boy teddies and car flags spring to mind. Ugh!
Quote="lothlorian"gotta admit, a good friend of mine is a bulls fan, and she was over the moon when noble left, thought mcnamara was the next big thing. only one good young coach for me in sl and thats justin morgan'"
