According to the Guardian, this may not be something that Brian Noble will welcome, and I may be interpreting this wrongly, but my first read of this was Eddie Jones going to be a direct replacement for Brian. Quote But it will come as a shock to Brian Noble, Farrell's former Great Britain coach who is in the last year of his contract with the club having saved them from relegation in 2006 and guided them to within one game of the Super League grand final in each of the last two seasons.
Ian Lenagan, the Wigan chairman with whom Noble has never enjoyed an easy relationship, refused to comment on the Jones rumours when they first surfaced on Christmas Eve and he was equally noncommittal today. But the rumours have re-emerged with a report in the Australian newspaper. It claims that an announcement on Jones's future "could come as early as next week"."
