To put this in perspective, Friday's crowd wouldn't have fitted into Saints' new stadium and Wire's ground is smaller than our average attendance. The DW isn't great, but we need a big ground to allow all the people that want to see Wigan to be able to do so. Hopefully we will push on from this next season and get close to the 17k mark. |

Wire, Saints and the rest haven't got the caibre of marketing and media people we have.
Wigan RL's marketing is the best in SL and by a very, very long way!

Some Wire fans are just jealous because they know they can never claim crowds of 19,000 plus even in the unlikely event that they can ever find that many who are interested. |
