I think it is a poor idea stopping drinking in the ground. You can drink at practically every other rugby game including the Challenge cup. Just because it is a football ground doesn't mean there is a football crowd does it ?

There are on-street drinking bans - cordons and bins for discarding bottles & cans.

The bars & refreshment areas in the ground are open, but "you won't be allowed to drink alcohol anywhere you can see the pitch from".

So basically: drink in pubs & bars, and not in the street or at your seat.
