This sunshine thread must give the club ammo to think that some of our fans will find anything to moan about. I bet that there is no thread bleating about the sun on any other club site, In fact some up north would welcome the sun. NB I am a person who avoids the sun at every juncture. Maybe the club could sell Quins burqas for those who want to cover up.

...think you will find that the west stand is no longer the 'Lexus' but the 'LV=' after financial investment & insurance services founded in Liverpool 100+ years ago as the Liverpool Victoria!!

One man's moan is another man's (or woman's) big issue. I'm not aware of any other club that attempts to pack its own supporters all into one sun-facing stand, are you?

I'd suggest that you quit moaning about other people raising issues that are important to them.

If you like standing and are a Wakey fan you only have the option of being exposed to the elements be it rain or sun

Think ourselves lucky.

Then put them in the West stand for SKY games and the fans in the East Stand and for non SKY games the fans can be put first

This argument is not about the sun its about where the best view for fans is from and that is the West Stand. I have yet to see a single person argue that the view from the East stand is better and therefore the argument is surely won by that

I prefer the east stand- the only reason I didn't get an east stand ST last year was because I didn't want to sit with the council house vermin(CHV) that were referred to as the east standers.(65 quiders)

Now happily we are all together as a family and all embracing- which in this day and age is commendable. A thoroughly enjoyable experience it is too.

It's partly about the sun, but that's just one factor. Some people do prefer to be in the sun whether or not that gives them a better view.

I prefer the East Stand too. Always have done, always will do.

Agree with Chris. I can see the match (which is why I come) far better from the West.

Perhaps the club should seek a deal with a sunglasses business, enough people are whining about it to make it worthwhile.

Not me. Took a cap. I am sure the Club realise the sun is not the sole issue - as Chris says.

Or, even better (and simpler) reopen the West Stand.

personally moving the sun would be my option i would get the board to make sure the sun rises in the west from now on

Nothing to do with the sun at all the view is better from th eLV (Lexus) stand, but the club can not afford it so if you don't like it go watch speedway!

out of interest how many numbers would have to be regularly coming to open the Lexus stand, 5-6 thousand (im talking just Quins here)?

....a boring, no, also dull thread.........but suppose it keeps some you as fans 'happy'.......East Stand, West Stand ....... is a minor matter ...... we as QRL supporters have many more important matters which need addressing.

...increasing the crowd numbers........better communication between ourselves and the directors/club management and the re-establishment of a, active, aggressive SUPPORTERS CLUB. Think we are about the only 'major' SuperLeague club without one!!

Am aware of the match day 'Volunteers' and damm fine work they do but that is not at all the same as a proper QRL Supporters Club.

Would welcome comments ....... even those who believe that any such 'supporters' club, trust grouping call it what you want will either be frowned upon or discouraged or even ignored by the QRL 'owners' and thus will be negative should have their say.

You've been around long enough to know that outside of a supporters trust which actually finances it's position on the board, a supporters club/group would struggle to define an exact constitution upon which it was run and execute what its aims, objectives & outcomes would be, and in turn be percieved as anything other than a bothersome entity by the club. Not saying it should be so but reality and history proves otherwise. What would be your core constituional values be for such a group?
