It does strike me that The Hive seems to be somewhere you go to watch a game and then go home. Which is a bit worrying given how few of us in the south are currently likely to turn up just to watch a match. At Quins we had the potential turn it into a bit of a day out with the band, a wide range of pubs and restaurants near etc. It may be my lack of knowledge of the area but I didn't sense that on Sunday.

Few London fans around Baker street yesterday. We looked at beer in the evening and there doesnt seem to be much around the Hive. We stuck around for a couple of pint in the members bar under the main stand, the bar at the other side looked busy as we left.

Technically speaking, if two teams are equally fit but one is technically better then the technically worse team will tire because the better team will make them do more work, both in defence and attack. That's not to say that the Broncos are as fit as Warrington, mind

Spot on Penguin and Chiswick Wire (although I stand to be shot at as I have not attended a match there yet). Trouble is I don't feel that the product is top flight although the Broncos are in the top tier currently. I have watched 2 excellent games of RL so far this season and am looking forward to the AMS on Sunday.

Broncos do not issue the pass. The RFL does. Wonder if they ignore FA issued passes ? Worrying lack of knowledge when they don't know the name of the sports' governing body ! Barnet staff have ensured a few interesting calls to the RFL today, not only from me.

RFL Match Day Pass 2014 (same as 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009 etc).
Never had any problems at any other ground with it including Gillingham, Leyton, KC, DW & several other 'dual' use venues.

I don't actually see how that changes anything tbh. They are Hive staff and not on Barnet or Broncos payroll so I can well imagine they would refuse an FA pass just as quickly.

From their point of view it makes no odds if you charge Broncos for your work. It is of no benefit to them. I know I'm being harsh and playing devils advocate but the blunt truth is the Hives deal is that they receive ticket revenue and if the people who brokered this deal are handing out free passes then they are undermining what was agreed.

We are a championship standard side. Statistically, we are not the worst performing side at the moment, but unlike Catalan, we don't have a hat-full of players to return in the coming weeks.

Watching Broncos the last couple of years has been a dispiriting chore.

Apart from one or two honourable exceptions the previous squad were complete & utter wasters.

As dire as the team were in 2013, they managed 5 wins and 2 draws which is 5 wins and 2 draws more than this "plucky bunch" will probably achieve.

This side has at least 4 or 5 wins in it I reckon.

For example the defeat to Wire was nowhere near as bad as the complete capitulation last season.

Broncos 2013 was less than the sum of its parts.

Broncos 2014 is quite considerably more.

Our average loss this year so far is 14-44.
Same 4 games in 2013 that average was 17-44......and we'd won one of them.

The only side that have performed worse than us so far this year are Catalans........they have a series of tough games coming up Saints/Hudds/Wigan....they may well be on 0 points come April 17th but I suspect they will turn their season around starting with us.

If we lose this weekend I suspect Paddock Punters odds on a winless season may shorten....
