It's what some folk do. There are plenty of proper fans who have just had an absolute gutful of the club and cannot bear the idea of watching a completely uncompetitive team being repeatedly hammered while being held in complete contempt by those who run the club. The club can hardly expect to receive support in those circumstances. |

jaybs with you on that one, in fact most of the kickball clubs would have gone under.
As for the ones who have had a gutful of the club, give up then! don't bother! but don't come on here whinging about how bad the crowds are!
I for one will be there supporting my club
I will rephrase my last comment "that's what folk do" lets say "that's what supporters do"

I think lots of RL 'fans' in the S.E. like to find reasons to justify the fact they can't be bothered to get off their sofa and go and support the local SL team.
You can kid yourself all you like that Hemel, Oxford or Skolars are 'doing it the right way'. But I can't see any of them being a top flight club in the next 20 years.
Broncos are important, but if you prefer semi-pro RL or watching SL on the sofa that's fair enough. But don't kid yourself that there's a justification for it on the basis that the club's not very good. You're part of the problem.

Really? Supporting Skolars, Hemel or Oxford makes one part of the problem at Broncos.

Hmmm. I think point being made is semi pro is fine but they are not going to suddenly replace a SL team and form the pinnacle in the South. |

Oxford openly state they have no interest in ever being in Superleague as it's not going to be viable. I'd say that's doing things the right way myself.
I watched both Oxford and Broncos last season and may well do the same this year as I'd miss it if / when top flight RL dies down south. However I much preferred watching Oxford and if it is one or the other I will go there. I have no intention of apologising for that. After more than a decade as a season ticket holder at Broncos I feel no great loyalty to a club that treats us with little more than contempt.

Actually this was the question that I responded to, some of us are seriously thinking about attending this year because we have supported London Broncos/Quins etc for a number of years, some from the very beginning and still want to support em, what it boils down to is 17 blokes every week for the season going out on the paddock |
