I fail to see the point in going on about a clique......everyone here has their own opnions and just because people don't agree with most of mine, it doesn't make them a clique does it?
For example, I have been quite vocal in my opinion of the Skolars this year, but just because people like HKBronco, Wire Quins and Kit80 disagree with me, it doen't make them a clique....it's just a difference of opinion.

I think I'm the last person apart from GF that I would think would be part of a clique, people rarely agree with me and I have very little connection with anybody on these forums.

Anyone who dares criticise the club and its players on here is shot down in flames - t'was ever thus.

My criticism of Jon Wells is a case in point. His strike rate as a super league winger is absolutely pathetic and has been for a number of years yet because he is a nice bloke and chats with people, anyone who dares say he is not good enough is shot down by the fundamentalists on here.

When voices such as mine and Scimitars mention that they don't like the product and don't want to watch it anymore, the fundamentalists on here tell them that they are 'miseries' or that 'you aren't welcome here with an attitude like that'

The simple fact is that Harlequins RLs average crowd is pathetic and getting worse. Rather than clapping yourselves on the back about how 'loyal and loud' you are, why not show some humility and accept others points of view? Why not accept that the club as it stands is not attractive to thousands of lapsed fans?

As for the thousands of lapsed fans.....get over yourself. Since 2000 we have pretty much stayed the same, a badly supported club. What would you rather? A colapse a la the London Monarchs.
Do us all a favour, stay away from the stoop and stay off these boards until you supply a solution in your criticism rather than being keyboard warriors. I repeat....you are a class a tw-@ and you deserve the responses you get on these boards

Of course an insult is acceptable. If you want to visit a forum full of RL fans and discuss what you think is going wrong, then you expect to get shot down. Your persecution complex on the other hand would point to deeper more personal issues

I have mentioned many things I would consider a way of attracting the fans back. I would reclaim the name and colours of London Broncos - I very much doubt that Harlequins RU would give a toss about the name change. I would get rid of absolutely mediocre players such as Jon Wells. Any foreign imports would be hard hitting, barnstoming characters. Matchdays would be on a Sunday. Football supporters would be massively targeted - any London season ticket holder can for 20 quid get a ticket to 3 super league games, and a drink/food item etc with heavily reduced season ticket etc etc.

I suspect they might. I am the first to admit to loving the Broncos far more than I do QRL but seriously how many people do you really think it would add to the gates if this was a possibility? it's not as if we were not bleeding support away at both the Valley and GP.

Chiken and Egg though Rupe - until your missing thousands come back how can the club afford better players? I think that if you originally left because the name and colours changed then that is pretty short sighted.

I think it would make a big difference. I personally find it abhorrent that we are known as 'Harlequins' and play in their colours. I think the reclaiming of the London Broncos name and colours is very important - if this was done with the removal of the mediocre players such as Wells et al and a targeted recruitment policy of only going for exciting foreign players, a sunday matchday and a hard hitting targeting of London football fans then I do think an increase of 1000-2000 fans is quite possible.

If things carry on as they are, what do you personally think will happen to the club? I personally think that we will not get a Super League licence next time.
