Their pack is bigger and more aggresive than ours...but I think ours is more mobile. If we can reach partity with them physically I think we can run round them with our pace. That is of course a massive IF.

Hudders back line tend to carve us open in the last 30 minutes of games previously...we need to stop their forwards getting on top and wearing us down...if we do that then our backs can handle and possibly out do theirs....these are all massive IF's

It really depends what attitude we turn up with...I'm hoping for atleast a competitive showing, as we're on Sky and are effectively marketing the brand to all those watching. People can handle following a team that loses...so long as we aren't smashed by 30 points or so.

Where did Karl Pryce play when he came on against Leeds? Bigger than anyone else at the club by a country mile but will the big man get the go ahead on the wing at the Stoop?

What ive noticed with Hudds is they play a very compact defence, so moving the ball around away from the heart of the defence seems to work-I think it was Hull at the weekend who opened them up for a couple of tries by moving the ball 2 out.
I remember last year in the CC when Wire threw the ball wide from the KO which shocked Hudds and Wire went on to carve them up on the flanks, winning by a massive score.
Contain there go forward and we should be fine.

If so Quins should be concerned as Eorl was running over the top of some very good Hull forwards on sunday and he as off loading very effectively. not a bad weak link.

On this seasons form, I'd say Wilkes was about on par with Griffin.

I did think the Leeds pack would overun us last week but it never happened.

If we can defend the Hudds kicking game then we can win this one

WE should not underestimate Hudds, they are a good side. I expect them to finish 3rd/4th and if we get close it will be a real sign of progress. Can we line Rob up for the next Mayor if this continues.

Crabtree's an exceptional player on his day. Not consistent enough to be world class though for me. One positive is that they played Sunday and we played Friday so 2 days more rest. Could be important.

I reckon RP will play Calders instead of Melling on Friday, they are potent on the wings.

Melling looks revitalized after a year without a settled role in the team, and looks to have the pace once again that gained him international honours.

Jamie O'Callaghan seemed to indicate there was something wrong with his ankle or calf so Calders may have come in as cover for that slight injury that did not see JOC leave the field against the Crusaders, but as we all know every tackle is like a mini car crash and the players are literally the walking wounded.
