Looking at buying a 'membership' for the first time since we left the Stoop seeing as Wimbledon is only an hour away, but I'm a bit confused about the kids pricing. According to the website 'membership explained' there is a 'Junior Broncos up to and including age 12', which on the order form is called Under 12 membership, and a 'Junior Broncos 12 - 16' which on the order form is called a 12-16 membership. As I have a 12 year old daughter, I'm trying to work out whether she should be 'up to and including 12' or '12 - 16'?
https://londonbroncosrl.com/tickets/
I'm guessing nobody proof read the membership info page to make sure it was clear? I did try asking for help on the twitter feed but whoever runs that was unable to help because they don't sell 'season tickets' they sell 'memberships', which is obviously the gold standard in corporate communications. Maybe the same person wrote the membership info page?
I did try to work it out using the order form process, but that didn't get too far as it won't accept my email address for the kids tickets because it's the same address I'm using for my ticket. Seriously, would kill the Commercial team to spend an hour on user experience testing their processes?
Has anybody ordered a ticket for a 12 years old, if so, what ticket did they order?

Mine is a little younger but you should buy the under 12 ticket, in my view, on the basis that kids would play under 12s at sport until they reach 13 if you see what I mean. That is what I would/will do. If you are risk adverse you could email them on their hello@ email address and they square this away but I’m sure I’m right.

| This evening AFC Wimbledon fans offered discounted tickets for either the Widnes or Whitehaven games. Offer to AFC Wimbledon Season Ticket Holders, Debenture Holders, Stadium Card Holders and Dons Trust members, plus those who have invested in the club/stadium through the bond or equity crowd funding. Discount codes will go out later this week. Will be interesting what the uptake is.

Will be interesting to see what the cost of a ticket is compared to a Bronco's season ticket (per game).

Tickets are £1 for season ticket or debenture holders, £5 for stadiumn card holders, Dons Trust members, Seedrs crowdfunding investors and Plough Lane Bond holders.

Seems about right.
I assume that the dons fans get first dibs on their regular seat?

| AFC seem to be trying to boost our crowds by themselves being dumped out of the FA Cup & after last night's lose at MK Dons, now only 2 points & 1 place outside the relegation places after such a good start to the season. Do have a couple of games in hand but could be a long old season. Doubt they would want to follow 2 failing teams though.

Honestly don't believe the league position of AFC Wimbledon will determine if their supporters watch the Broncos or not. AFC Wimbledon are probably a border League 1/2 team anyway. They could get relegated, but that's deemed acceptable as part of a long term plan.
Having just opened a 30 million pound stadium, prudent financial decisions are priority.
How many AFC Wimbledon supporters will watch Broncos matches I’ve no idea, but it makes sense to attempt to get them in with this offer. It is a fan base with a lot of money, so engaging with them is worth doing. How many will enjoy the experience enough to return is the million dollar question.
AFC Wimbledon soft launched a new bond just before Christmas, which means only supporters following unofficial social media closely are aware of it. It directly replaces the previous bond which exceeded 6 million. Currently the new bond is over £600,000 with official publication of it’s existent imminent. It is of course a loan (albeit a friendly loan) but does have a minimum investment of five years. An attraction is not just providing the club a medium term loan, but the offer of 6% annual interest.
In other words the money is there, it’s upto the Broncos to attract it to their team.

I think it's general availability, even debenture holders don't have first dibs on their seats.

| Every Dons fan that comes to LB is very welcome, and I hope the team provides enough entertainment to keep them coming back. I fully support every Dons fan and I really hope that they take up the offer and enjoy themselves, and that the remaining 50 or so Legacy Broncos fans give them every welcome.

I hope plenty of Dons fans turn up - and keep turning up.
I have nothing but the greatest respect for them with what they have achieved, restarting the club from scratch after the FA royally shafted them by moving them to MK.
I'm not so sure I want to see the Broncos looking like AFCW but...........

| Saturday (15th) is the start of a busy 30 days at Plough Lane. AFC Wimbledon have seven home fixtures in that period, plus the opening two Broncos fixtures. This Sunday's Ladies match has been moved (playing away now with the home fixture to be rescheduled). The current Ladies clashes with the Widnes and Whitehaven will be moved closer to the dates. The pitch is high quality and Wimbledon are more than happy that Rugby League will not overload/damage it. Probably more concerned to have ended up with seven first team matches in four weeks.

Generally whenever an article is published (fixtures, offers, the new shirt etc), but not a lot. Was some requests to use any unwanted offers for the opening two matches. Whilst looking for cheap entry, I guess the fact the pro-actively want to attend is good.
How many return at standard price is key of course.
The three out of football season July matches will be interesting (the first two pre school holidays) as to whether there is an interest on a warm Sunday afternoon. One is Featherstone mind, may attract on the name, but probably not great on likely scoreline for any first timers.

AFC Wimbledon is the easy access to new supporters of course and is rightly targeted.
Enticing more of the general local community is really important as I'm not convinced the numbers directly from the football will be that significant. As a local resident, I only know of the arrival of the Broncos via AFC Wimbledon. To do that, there really needs to be a family package, based on standard pricing, few families are likely to "try it out" without significantly lower child prices.
Totally non comparable of course, but AFC Wimbledon Ladies started with a couple of free matches at Plough Lane and are keeping U18's free. Seem to be quite a few hundred continuing to attend. Not suggesting the Broncos do that, but illustrates there is a interest in lunch time attendance at Plough Lane

We’ll see how the season goes but on the face of it the Sweet spot July fixtures do look unfortunate. Halifax and Fev look considerably stronger than us and not the type of game to encourage new fans. Sheffield is the one they should push.

Probably more me in fairness. The name Featherstone only means one thing to me; Rugby League. Probably a fair few older generation who follow sport would make the same connection. The younger generation very few I guess.
Having said that I'd probably do better pinning the tail on the donkey blindfolded than putting a pin in north England to identify Featherstone.
