You were well disciplined, well organised, you tackled superbly, you played with enthusiasm and commitment, and your kicking was excellent. Although coaches are always looking to improve their teams, I can't see how yours would have found much to criticise.

My main criticism of them was their lack of killer instinct. There were three or four times when they could and should have scored against Saints, but took the safe option instead.

They are however IMO a far better team offensively and defensively than that of Mcdermott.

Proud to say "I was there"...Great ,Great win.......We are a more focused side .playing without fear.......Took my Sis in Law from Widnes along who thinks our away crew are "quite mad" but .....by the end of the 80 minutes she was as carried away as the rest of us.........Went into a few pubs wearing my Quins top later on in the night and recieved nothing but good comments about our team....... And Oh!..My aching head this morning.....

I was talking to a scouser last week who was slagging off Mick Potter - I can't think why. He took a team not dissimilar to this to two grand finals. Simmons doesn't seem anywhere near his level.

This start is unbelievable. The media, other fans, our own fans didn't see this coming. LMS must be kicking himself right now, he left the best city in the world and a top four team to go and live in St Helens and play in Widnes for a mid-table side!

LMS I am sure will always have his heart in London! yesterday afternoon he was tweeting so over confident of Saints success, typical Louie, but sadly with Saints it was easy to see this coming, playing away at Widnes for a season and a team as well as supporters that put Cunningham on a pedestal! even last season there was Panic in the ranks if he was not playing or not on the pitch, over clubs have lost special players and you have to get over it.
