I don't get your point? the attendance at an away fixture, played at 6pm on a Friday night has no bearing on how I feel. Why should it?
Home attendances, although I freely admit to being somewhat of an annorack on the topic are a concern to the club I support.....that's fine, but an away game?
If you want to go down that route, Harlequins RL were responsible for the lowest gates in SL at 3 clubs last year.......so as much as we come in a Taxi....certain clubs see our visit as an opportunity to MARKET THE GAME and as a result, Wigan achieved their 3rd highest gate for our game there in 2009 and again this year so far.......and it was on Telly

. So, Taxi it may be, but we are still a bigger draw at a club like Wigan than some other HEARTLAND CLUBS. 6,200 MORE fans tured up to watch a televised game between Wigan and Quins than rolled up to see the might Hull Kingston Australians........

Nah, see on every other heartlands club board they would have been banned, but we pride ourselves here on being just a tadge more tolerant towards those that the community should be supporting, plus it's always such a joy to watch roofs get owned on every single thread he posts on across the network.

Hmm, still don't get this "owned" thing - if I had gotten facts wrong about Fulham/Crusaders/Broncos/Quins (or whatever the New Era Club will be called next year), and GF had proved me wrong, I would class that as owned. But he rightfully never disputes my views on attendances (same as I don't dispute his knowledge on youth development in London) so not sure where the 'ownage' is - surely it's just two guys have contrasting views & opinions (which IMO there's nothing wrong with on an internet discussion forum)?

The dour attendance at Wales yesterday evening is nothing to do with Quins. I think if I were a Quin fan I'd of boycotted the game myself, 6pm on a friday evening, total and utter madness.

I would agree , very little thought for any travelling support.
It's not as though the game KO time was being dictated by it being televised.

and especially when a number had bought their tickets for the game when advertised for the Saturday, we can't all afford to buy two sets of train tickets. Friday matches means taking time from work and for some poeple if they don't work they don't get paid. Now let me think why did so few of us travel.

Back to the original topic. There is a way that no Super League club could "lose" their licence, and that's if one of them decided not to reapply. That's got to be one option DH (and Crusaders?) are considering, given the certainty of haemmorhaging millions on the new three year licence. A consequence would be to limit losses next season by eg shipping out expensive players and going with the ones already on the books.

Technically now that's correct as it would be losing the licence that would cause us to drop down a division, unfortunately for you though we never finished in that position in seasons gone, so your theory cannot be tested, not that facts will stop you rabbiting on.

Im hoping quins will be safe: Reasons? apart from having a few mates who are quins season pass holders they are producing local talent so should be given more time solely on that basis. A lot of good players coming from London at the moment which could benefit our national team. for me we should not have any French teams in our league, what good does it do for our national team? I personally could swap Catalans for widnes.
quins have a good ground there and after match entertainment is second to none. Probably need better marketing but will take time to grow and get kids playing it in schools with other sports been more popular in London.

Another point and sorry for this not been in order and all over the place but how many fans would travel if they had to play EVERY game away in London instead of along the M62?
