If you are allocated Joe Cobb as a ref, you need to be aware that he sometimes plays a practical joke and sends his son out onto the field instead of himself - you can easily tell, as his son only looks about 19 years old. The correct procedure in this instance is for the players to leave the pitch and refuse to return until the proper ref arrives, even if Cobb jnr threatens the team with forfeiting the game.

London will struggle to stay up at all whilst the clown Hughes continues to employ idiots in key positions. As far as I can make out, Grima was an average player (at best) and a member of the coaching staff at 3 clubs in the NSW cup sides of NRL teams, yet Hughes AGAIN (how many more times) employs him and then let's him sign his mates.
Hughes may well be a successful oil broker, but when it comes to being taken for a fool by employees, he's is first class numpty! His full time squad have just had their butts handed to them by a team, most of which will be up for work at 8am in their "day jobs"....

Gutterfax no longer posts on these forums, so I can't be spouting any "same old". Hughes, in my opinion is 100% the reason we are failing yet again. 2 games into the season and we've managed to nearly lose and then actually lose to part-time sides. God help us against Leigh at the weekend......


The only thing we need hughes for is to pay the players wages........and do you honestly believe any of those on duty for the 2nd half v Doncaster and all 80 v Sheffield deserve paying?

Apparently gutterfax fell foul of one singularly trigger happy moderator who issued a biased ban based on personality rather than breaking the aup. When other poster breaking the same rule have been pointed out to this moderator, they are left to carry on.
I on the other hand am enigmatic and I believe Hughes decision making since 2008 has delivered us to where we are now and he needs to make changes now, because if we don't go up this year then we never will. Losses to part timers is unacceptable to me as a supporter and as a supporter I can and will put across my point on an open and unbiased forum.

Agree though with some of your other comments as the team really should be performing. The TR it'll take 5/6 weeks has already been trotted out.

3 Months pre-season training and conditioning and the only conclusions I can currently come to are that:
We underestimated this division
We hired another untested coach who has turned out to be out of his depth
We have recruited badly AGAIN
We have no plan B.

All of the above lead back to Hughes inability to make god decisions or even take advice from those who know better.

McGuire was an untested coach when he took the Wigan role, the rest is history.

Maguire learnt his craft in the NRL at the top level from one of the best coaches in the business in an apprenticeship lasting close to 10 years.

Hughes has employed not one, but 2 totally unprepared coaches sandwidging 1 failed one over the last 4 seasons.......

In League competitions to date that Hughes formula has delivered 19 wins, 3 Draws and 86 losses from 108 games....he is as crap at finding and appointing coaches as he was with CEO's for the club.

Grima has delivered 2 from 16 (or is it 17) games......at what point does Hughes put his hands up and admit he's got it wrong again? Grima is a long way from home (as are some of his mates that he signed) so I doubt he'll fall on his sword, but to us "outsiders" it looks like he has been bankrolled to get us back up and thus far, has failed miserably.
We could well be on just 2 points 3 weeks in, with a quite unhealthy +/- figure....already -30, so 4 points and 66+/- behind the league leaders and 2nd is nowhere in this league!

Whitehaven, Workington and Halifax are must win games. For me, if we aren't on 8 points by the end of March Grima has to go.
