BTW...I used to turn up at games all the time. Most times I had blagged a couple of free tickets though, so whether I am there or not, it matters little!

...and I was offered these mythical shirts (TWICE)...I didn't ask for them!

So that confirms it, its all gutters fault never paying to get in and getting free kit from the club

alas Michael, a cursory glance at my wardrobe contents point to me having spent rather too much in the club shop (and port-a-cabin at Griffin Park) for me to be truly considered a "free loader". I also have, on occasion, purchased tickets in bulk and attended games with friends...the picture below is one such time with 8 people attending the Huddersfield game (although I think the Inflatable Wale might have got in free)

..I also, just to prove a point, filled 2 away day coaches to Wales and Wakefield. The club believed that it wasn't viable because they ran free coaches and nobody used them.....to prove a point I used a secret tool called COMMUNICATION and what do you know....full coaches.

To me it looks like nothing has changed. Someone, that person being this Barnet fella, has breathed a little bit of air into the ever deflating balloon that is London Broncos.

Why are people seriously thinking of attending this year? It baffles me.

Last year's season ticket early bird price was £140. The £99 offer was two seasons ago, not last year.
Still an increase of £24 though.

I understand that but the majority are London Broncos fans first and foremost but I just find it hard to see how people can continue to support the club, no matter how devoted they are to supporting the club.

Personally, I think the fans of London Broncos, no matter how small in numbers they may be, deserve better and should demand better treatment. Some must be a glutton for punishment and that's not a dig, I would find it hard to motivate myself to go if I were one.



I'm not a Broncos fan, never have been. I'm a fan of a northern club through family and London are my closest Super League side so I've looked out for them. I have looked at the fixtures and I think I might go to two games this season, I go to Skolars more because it's closer to home and I've found that the games there that I've seen in the last few years have been more competitive and entertaining than the one sided games I've travelled four hours (there and back) to see at Twickenham. Crowds are poor at Broncos because they're allowed to be, there's no marketing and rarely a product on the pitch worth seeing.

Why the bellyaching then?

Because I think Super League, London Skolars, Hemel Stags and the game in London and the South East needs a strong London Super League presence.

Having played the game in the South East, I have seen the work done by the likes of Jones & the other coaches and seen how much it means to the players and how important it is for those areas and those kids.

My question I asked earlier today wasn't a dig nor a bellyache, it was more of an enquiry. I'm interested to see why people are standing by the owners and club, not to cause any arguments or digs at people.
