My first thought, Mathers or M Monaghan, would be very happy with Richie, still a good player with experience directing from the back. Decent signing if true.

I'm under the impression we will have Ray Nasso and Joel Wicks sharing the Hooking role so would be surprised to see a third Hooker sign up

A fullback is probable given we only have youth players there

I'd play Oscar Thomas there tbh. He's got pace, joins the line well, has a decent boot on him, but he's not big enough for centre or dominant enough for half back.

Mathers is a very poor signing, and probably on a relatively big wage too.

He goes missing in physical games, which there will be plenty of in the Champs, he's not really a line-breaker, doesn't have much of a kicking game.

Solid ish full back but im willing to bet there are better full backs already playing in the Champs.

We'll be his 7th club which says everything about him, can do a solid job for a time but really not up to much.

It's a 'name' player but he's not really someone I've ever rated that highly tbh. Been at a lot of clubs (some big ones) but not done much and none of them wanted to keep him around.

Strew th, am gonna find myself agreeing with gutters here, think it's a good signing, he is not quite up there with Sammut but has made mtrs, for wakey scored a few tries, yep his tackle count is not massive.
But a pretty solid player, v experienced, and actually I don't agree that he goes missing, have seen him in a few games getting in the mix.

Surprised we got him. Certainly a player who can organise and lead within a team so I wouldn't be surprised if he is made captain.

There are suggestions on the Leigh board London have signed Luke Adamson from Halifax. Don't remember seeing it confirmed so file under rumour not fact at the moment.

This is true, as is the signing of Matt Garside from Sheffield and 2 more confirmed signings to my knowledge.

I can think of a few things but none of them are to do with the 2015 squad.

Mathers is one of the "old heads" that we've been missing this season. was always error-prone and a bit casual but I think less so in recent years, probably due to maturing and having some decent coaching.
