| I believe we will be at the Stoop which begs the question about Gus and co not only screwing up this year with uncertainty but also next year.

| IMO if at stoop next year, makes you wonder if shutting up shop. See out the season, don't bother moving into any other grounds as only going for another year. Possibly why not many player signings. Talked to a couple of players and they advised they dont even know and also in limbo. Cant believe club dont advise any plans / ideas. Fans forum would be a good idea.

| Is Kaufusi really as bad as you guys are making out? I noticed during your cup semi final that he played the full 80 minutes, and he did the same against Leeds.
He had a hand in a couple of your tries against the Rhinos too iirc.
I was amazed at him playing a full 80 minutes. He's not exactly a spring chicken and is a prop forward by all accounts - surely he would be more effective in 15-20 minute spells off the bench as an impact prop?

When he wants to play, he is easily our best forward. It's a shame he never seems to want too.

Maybe the new thinking is that he can have a rest when he's earned one.

| Rea, claims today in "League Express" that negotiations continue with Clubb & recruitment is ready for starting?
One person who should not be involved with that recruitment is Rea himself, this season has proven if nothing else, Tony no longer has what it takes.
Another attack from Garry Schofield in his column, it's getting like a worn record, I see Garry similar to Alan Hansen, what have they really done since their playing days ended? but they like to sit in judgement of those who are willing to be involved in the game either coaching or management! Garry again questions how those who support London in Super League are now assessing the current situation. He gets great joy in quoting Dave Hadfield as losing faith in a future for the club. Usually I take up the bait and respond, but these days I see Schofield as a joke, like Ray French, they have never moved with time.

What a silly statement to make, Rea has invested almost nothing into building the current squad of players, to suggest that its his fault for the team he has is stupid. He has failed with motivating and getting the best out of the players he inherited, yes. But to say that Rea shouldn't be involved in recruiting when he was involved in many of the biggest names we've had down in London is ridiculous.

| I agree wth the last 2 posters. Give Jose Mourinho Stoke's squad and he won't be able to turn them into contenders.
2014 is where Rea can be judged.

Awful, he was CEO when we got to Wembley, despite 15,000 London at Wembley- no extra gain in fans and failed to get their ticket details from Quins who sold them! So that is a definite no. The biggest chance for us to establish ourselves and the data went to the RU guys and look what they did with it!

| When a team makes the same mistakes week in week out, whoever is the coach, should carry the can! claiming it is not Rea's squad is a joke! All coaches would love the proviso, your job is guaranteed, as it is not your squad........
Tony was no better as CEO at the end of his term

Other than loans due to injuries, he's signed Tommy Lee and erm... Jamie Soward.
Weird sense of humour you must have.

| He's coach of the worst team in SL. He talks complete . His team are not not fit to play park rugby. His captain went back to Australia half way through the season. His next captain made. Public denunciation of the club. Oh yes, Tony Rea, not responsible for anything bad....

| Why do people attack Tony Rea all the time?
He is trying very hard to be a good coach, and he has very explicitly predicted that a victory is just around the corner.
Is it really because he is unsuccessful as a coach or is there another darker motive?

| Nothing darker, I can assure you, he is just a bad coach and does not seem able to motivate players, and correct their faults. You should ask the same question to those who defend him, even when we had to get rid of him last time, they did the same.

| Judging by the 11 responses to your question on the Saints board he is rubbish, no pace, can`t defend, not SL standard etc with people struggling to see what improvement he would bring to our team.......great signing TR (if true).
I am with the doubters regarding TR.....I repeat a question raised on an earlier thread....can anyone name an aspect of our game or a player that has improved due to the coaching of TR, because I can`t? The guys a busted flush and talks cobblers, no better than Powell before him.

| I would not take too serious, many of the responses on the Saints board, they have been converted to the new faith, McManus! Why did they let Jamie Foster go? and he did well at Hull and now with The Bulls, also the same with Gaskell, now at Salford, soon to be at Bulls. But at the same time they persist with Wheeler, who is not that good and drives around the town in a Mercedes, thinking he is the bees knees! The problem at St Helens, like here, is coaching, their former coach now CEO Rush.
