To be brutal, we're a Championship side with a poor coach. After all this, can anyone see a rumoured big investor wanting to take us on?

Hughes needs to either make 1 more significant investment or give up and withdraw our license application IMO. Nobody is enjoying seeing the club run in this way.

First 3 Wigan scores came from a scrum after Jamie O'C fumbled the first bomb, Pyrce knocked on going for an intercept and Gale had a Henry Paul moment for an intercept. I don't think any coach tells their players to do that. Wigans completion was 94% in the first half and Maguire is quoted in the local Wigan rag as saying the first 24 minutes was probably the best they have played all year.

Childs was farcical - Tommy L's first try he dropped short of the line we were all right in line with it! A couple of minutes later Wigan touch the ball on our set and he didn't give us six to go and I will admit to ignorance on this one so maybe someone can enlighten me. Tomkins kicked it along the ground and hit Childs who was a good few metres away. The ball bounced of Childs, Danny Ward picks it up Childs then gives a scrum to us and then changes it to a Wigan scrum.

They'd be seen (admittedly by only about 1500 people) as the person who took us from being one of the weakest teams in Super League to a competitive one once again.

Pretty sure the rule is when the attacker kicks the ball and it hits the ref, that the ball is automatically turned over to the defending side for head and feed at the scrum. So sounds like Childs being influenced by the crowd again.

Disgraceful score from a team who don't seem to know what effort, commitment and pride are about. As much as I admire David Hughes and agree without him we wouldn't have a club I also recognise the fact he has chosen the last two coach's. We have got progressively worse over the last four years and after 16 years supporting this club I have now had enough. I am suffering the same illness as the team I can't even be bothered to turn up for the next home game. The club will never build crowds with an excuse for a coach (not his fault he was not up to standard and they went for the cheapest option), with a team staying in the dressing room game after game they will not build excitement and without that you won't get newbies through the door and finally with such a stupid inconsistent home game fixture no one knows automatically where and when we are playing. Absolutely nothing is fluent and seamless with QuinsRL and I bet Gus McKay will regret the day he got involved. Harsh words but fair ones. Rose tinted glasses have become clear and I can now see better.
